Privacy Policy

1. Who runs this website

This website is run by Jan Zelinger, known as Ian Kita, a DJ and producer based in Zlín, Czech Republic. For anything about your personal data, email booking@iankita.com.

2. What this website collects

Very little. There are no contact forms, no visitor accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and the website does not set cookies for visitors. Fonts, photos and videos are served from this website itself.

3. Hosting

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the website and keep it secure. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

4. Content from other services

The cover art in the music section loads directly from SoundCloud's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when the images load. No cookies are set by those images.

Links to Instagram, Facebook, SoundCloud, Spotify, Beatport and GoOut take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.

5. When you email us

If you email booking@iankita.com, your email address and message are used only to reply to you and to arrange bookings. They are kept for as long as that conversation or booking needs them, and they are never sold or shared for marketing.

6. Site editors

The people who edit this website's content sign in through DecapBridge, with a password or their Google or Microsoft account. This happens only on the editing page, never for ordinary visitors.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Email booking@iankita.com to do so. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).

8. Changes to this policy

If the way this website handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
